9 Lives

The Newton family is SO SAD to say we have lost a very loving and purring part of our family this week. Petri passed away on Monday November 26th from stones in his kidneys and urethra. I apologize for the impersonal text I sent out to some of you, but it was just too hard to call anyone. It was a very sudden and unexpected loss and we are all a little shocked and very heartbroken. So since this is my blog I'm going to take a moment to pay tribute to "my first baby"and hope you all don't think I'm being a "crazy cat woman" ;) For those of you who have pets you understand, they are more than just a pet they are truly a part of your family.

I LOVE YOU PETE! YOU WERE THE BEST CAT EVER!

Gobble Gobble

I hope everyone had a blessed Thanksgiving and took time out to thank God for our many blessings. We had a wonderful weekend of family fun. We spent Thanksgiving Day with the Newton family side in Garland, TX at James' Great Aunt Carols house. Then Saturday we had a Medsger get together at our house! I loved hanging out with everyone. We also just had our 1 year anniversary of our move to TX. I have to say I am loving being settled in our home and getting ready for the holidays. Our tree is up, lights hung, and the garage is full of decorations ready to be unpacked!
Cole was napping in his room, when I went in to check on him I couldn't find him...haha
At Aunt Carols house for Turkey Day, Cole and Kate had their own table.
Tryptophan kicked in for Kate!
My kitchen helpers!
James leaves no man behind!

Courtney says "whoooo Turkey Time", lol not really. I have no idea what she is doing.
This is how we ROLL
I love you Aunt Ricky

Happy 6th birthday to our angel! It was a fun filled weekend of family, friends, horses, cupcakes and of course lots of wonderful presents. Enjoy the pics...we have lots to share ;)
She was very impressed by this ;)
We took cupcakes into Courtney's class and she got to stand on the table while we sang happy birthday with her teacher Mrs. Trautman!  She was loving it!
And Cole was loving being a big boy in the Kindergarten classroom.
Singing their goodbye songs!
Look what Courtney got for her birthday...a life sized Cole doll.
My cupcake making helpers.
All Courtney wanted to do for her birthday was go horseback riding! So we were lucky enough to find a wonderful barn and instructor that gave 8 girls a lesson on grooming, tackle, and then got to ride multiple times! It was perfect! And they LOVED IT!!!
