Pumpkin Patch

Happy Fall y'all!
I'm practicing my y'all's for down in TX! Did I spell it right Lauren? I have so much to learn, I do believe I will forever be a yankee! We did some house hunting a week or so ago and as soon as we crossed the border there was Texas shaped EVERYTHING!!! Even in the gas station bathrooms. I told James "I'm always going to be an outsider down here, aren't I". Ha ha as my sis-in-law says... "we're proud of our state shape! LOL
We have lots to report! We have an offer on the house, woooo hoooo! And I believe we are past the major hurtles. The appraisal and home inspection are all done and we have come to agreements on everything. Our closing date  is set for Nov. 21st. We've gotten the go-ahead from our realtor today to START PACKING! So if anyone is looking for something to do... ;)  We still haven't found a home in TX, James is on the hunt. We hope to find something soon so we can have a smooth transition.
The kids and I are enjoying the fall weather and had a nice day out at Reeger's Pumpkin Patch. We are all set for Halloween and Courtney's birthday coming up. What a fun month. Courtney got 2 pink hair extensions and she LOVES them, the proceeds go towards  Breast Cancer research. It was a good teaching moment.
Enjoy the pics!

Newton Update!

Hello everyone! Hope all is well. I've had a pumpkin spice latte and just bought harvest candles, it's officially Fall! We are still in PA, awaiting the house to sell. Daddy is in TX and we are missing him TERRIBLY!!!!! We continue to pray that our house will sell quickly so we can all be together. We've had a lot of activity with the house this week, so hopefully something concrete will come up soon. If not we are starting to discuss the possibility of renting, both here and there. We hope not to have to do that, but these kiddos need their daddy and we need to be together!

We have been trying to keep ourselves busy so the weeks go by quickly. I have had so much love and support from so many family and friends, it's amazing! The Byerly/Drew family was gracious enough to invite the kids and I with them on their family vacation to VA beach. We had a wonderful week and loved playing with Carter and Elliot. I was able to get Courtney in a church pre-school for while we are in PA. So she started that this am and loved it. Here are a few pictures from what we've been up to the past month.
Love to all,
The Newtons

Beach Bums!

Hope everyone is having a nice summer. We had a very nice family vacation to the OBX beaches! It was a lot of fun with family, friends, and relaxing by the ocean. My little man turned 2!!!! We had a "traveling birthday party" for him on the way to the beach. Thank you to all that called, gifts, cards, etc. xoxo. I'm going to try to attach the link to the short video I created from the week. You should be able to just click here... http://youtu.be/50_y53XMK9g

We are back to reality now and missing our James! We decided to put the house up for sale with a realtor to try and get it sold quicker. The toll of him being gone is starting to wear on the children and that is breaking my heart. So the sooner we get this process done and our family back together to better. Please keep us in your prayers that we have a smooth transition into our next adventure.

Here are some random pictures from our summer!

Love to all,
