Newton Family: July 2011

Well we survived our first two weeks of being apart from James! He went to Texas to start working his territory. You know the saying "it takes a village"; well that is very true and I am so grateful to my "village" for all of their help while James was away. I had so much help and support we made it through just fine! Our friend Kelsey helped out SOOOO much and the kiddos and myself enjoyed our time with her.

So far we've spent our summer... cleaning the house, cleaning the house, and cleaning the house! Haha just kidding. The house selling is going well. We are still trying to sell it on our own and are having pretty good traffic and responses, but I'll be glad when it sells so I can stop being OCD about cleaning, ugh! I've tried to keep the kids busy and out of the house. We have been spending time at GG's house swimming, went to Idlewild last week, and Courtney got to go to Vacation Bible School with Mary and Bill (or as she calls it Bible Vacation School, ha). Mom and Dad got a fun night out with all the Carl's to a Kenny Chesney and Zack Brown Band concert this weekend and had a blast! Now we are headed out to celebrate Jenny's 21st birthday and enjoy the 4th of July.
